READ 5 THEN DECIDE
Read and pass the AR test on at least 5 of the current Bluebonnet Nominees by January 15th, and you will be invited to the Bluebonnet Book Voting Party! The Bluebonnet Book Award is a prestigious award for an author and the winner is chosen by Texas students. We will have hot cocoa and donuts in the library while voting for which book on the list is your favorite!
Reading Challenges:
Read (and pass the AR tests) for the required number of books for each challenge to earn a brag tag, candy, and an invitation to the end of the year Library Celebration!
- STATES CHALLENGE- Read a book from all 50 states! (Students may take up to 2 school years for this challenge only)
- PASSPORT CHALLENGE- Read 20 books
- WHO HQ CHALLENGE- Read 15 books
- WHO WOULD WIN CHALLENGE- Read 16 books
- BLUEBONNET CHALLENGE- Read any 10 books from the current nominee list
We check everyone's AR word count the first Tuesday of every month!! Read like a Book Bug, a Bookworm, or a Book Dragon!
