LISD’s Policy for SB13 Compliance
Our school librarians are highly qualified certified school librarians with Masters of Library Science degrees. They follow the Collection Development Policy in LISD’s Board Policies.
Library Card Catalog
- Parents and community members may access each campus’s online card catalog on each campus’s library website.
- Parent Material Restriction From
Parent Access to Child’s Check-out History
- Parents may log into their children’s accounts by logging into Artemis (Biblionix) using the students’ usernames and student ID!@.
- For example: username: doejane002 password: 123456!@
New Book Acquisitions (purchases and donations)
- All library materials will be posted on this page for the required 30 day public comment period.
- Public Comment Form–If you need a printed form, please contact your campus librarian.
- The School Board will vote to approve before new library purchases are made or donations are accepted.
