Greetings, I'm Mark Sheppard, it's an honor to be the Taylor Creek Military Liaison. After a 24-year career in the U.S. Army, I retired in 2013, and now, in my 10th year in public education, I am thrilled to be joining the TCE family as Assistant Principal and Military Liaison.

 

Taylor Creek takes pride in being home to numerous military families. In our commitment to supporting those who serve our nation and community, we have established an array of resources for military-connected families and students. The collaboration between Taylor Creek Elementary, Fort Cavazos, and other community stakeholders ensures that military-connected students receive the necessary support throughout their enrollment in the school district.

 

Our dedicated team includes the school military liaison, several military connected staff members and our school counselor, Lynnette Jones. Additionally, we are excited to introduce our new Youth Sponsorship Program, designed to provide even more comprehensive support to military students.

 

I am genuinely excited, eager, and humbled to embark on this journey at Taylor Creek Elementary. Together with our team, I am committed to fostering an environment where every military-connected student can thrive.
